I’M HERE!

Hey from sunny Pefki!

Flight over was great, I bloody love flying! Thunderstorm as soon as we got here, was beautiful! Am writing a holiday journal, and if I have time I will write it up here as I go

Paul- Told you you’d get a special mention! I think you’d like it here, lots of sport on TV, alcohol and pretty girls! I miss chatting to you already love love love boyo xxx

Okay so here goes with the journal, I have 6 minutes left!

10.30ish AM – (In England it would be 8.30) Got outta bed, dressed and went for breakfast next door with the family in ma and dad’s room. Bread, cheese and coffee mmm!

11.30AM- go for a walk, 50m to the little beach by the hotel, then walk up the other way through the town to the bigger beach, then wander around the town for a while before…

12.45PM- Go to Jasmine cocktail cafe bar, sit and have a Strongbow, order Greek salad, tzatsiki, bread, chips. Have nice family lunch, with a gorgeous view of the mountains, and then the family head off to the bakers whilst I come here to Fuse Cafe to use the internet, at a very decent rate of 50c for 6 minutes.. not too shabby!

Can’t remember times for any of this, sorry!

Hung out @ apartment for a few hours, generally lazing around on the balcony and stuff..

Around 7 we went for dinner at To Spitaki (The Little House), was quite good, but not a patch on Terpsis the night we got here.

After dinner came to our local, which also happens to be where I’m sitting now, called Pefkos By Night. Watched the first half of the rugby and had a drink, but due to the severe smashing Argentina got we decided to head back to the apartments @ half time, around 11ish.

Got up this morning about 10.30, had breakfast, got dressed and headed out for a little wander before coming here to Pefkos By Night to update you all! Got a bit of attention from the barmen last night, so figured would be more fun coming here than Fuse, where there are just dirty old Englishmen! Sadly the barmen aren’t currently working, so not as much fun as I had thought!

12.45- Settled down with a half of strongbow to write journal and Othello essay, hot barman (Spiros) and not so hot but very sweet other barman (Yannis) turn up XD and amuse me greatly! Bapi comes to find me, we wander round town, go to the beach and at around 3.15 I find myself in PBN again finishing my Othello essay! Spiros tries to help me with essay.. I LOL@ him a lot! Yannis tries to distract me from work by trying to get me to dance with him and Spiros.. I politely decline, so they just sing really badly in my ear for the rest of the time I’m there!

I have this evening missing in my journal… I know we went for dinner somewhere, then headed to the market to buy booze.. then went back to the apartment and drank the booze… Then I believe I went to bed!

To cut a long story short, got up @ 10ish, went to beach..

Around 1.45ish I took pity on my pale, freckled, typically gingeresque skin, and headed back to the apartment!

2.12- Opened fridge to get a drink.. Was amused by it’s contents, 3 lipsticks, 2 moisturisers, ice cubes, half a bottle of fanta, half a bottle of water and a bottle of Strongbow! Appetising!

Generally monged out all day, as you do, then had dinner at Terpsis again.

Bapi took me and the twig for a drink in PBN, had quite a lot of drinks, and were once more thoroughly amused by Spiros and Yannis! Returned to apartment v drunk, and twig and I decided it would be fun to sleep on the balcony! It wasn’t.. returned to bed after about an hour, very cold and mosquito-bitten!

Got up early, tidied apartment, had brekafast and went for a walk.

We began walking in the general directin of Lardos, but Bapou and I turned back about half way as he has a new hip, and walkign long distances isn’t a grand idea! Around 12 I sat down with a bottle of Strongbow and my book, and didn’t get up again for a long time! Went to watch football, powercut!! Argh! Went down to PBN as they have their own generator, so managed to watch the game, despite it being SHITE! Had dinner, and went to PBN for a few drinks, and returned home nicely pissed

Got up early again, had breakfast and caught the bus to Rhodes town at 11!

Got to Rhodes town about 12.30, had a nice few hours there, (pictures will be on facebook!), bought a nice new ring, and at

1.45 -  sat in taverna/bar/restauranty place, drinking from a large glass boot! (picture on facebook!) Some random (Fairly ok looking) Greek guy tried talking to me, an I have no idea what he said!!

Some other amusing things happened while we were there but I cannot be bothered to type them all up!

Went out for dinner early, to Coralli’s, greatly amused by “SpikeyMikey” and “Vasilikos Billy/My nan thinks I’m Basil” XD

Went out to PBN for drinks as usual, had a laugh with Yannis, Spiros, George “Spare prick at a wedding” and Raaaaay Von! LOL!

Breakfast – PAIN AU CHOCOLAT FTW! Hehe! Went to Coliseum pool bar and just lazed around alllll day!!!! Went to Coralli’s for dinner again, then PBN for a few drinks, tried to sneak out later but Twig was being the respnsible big brother and wouldn’t give me the fooking key to let me go out! Next three pages of journal are angry drunken scribbles about what a prick I thought he was… LOL! Oh and also filled with Lostprophets lyrics… guess I was listening to them? Didn’t get to sleep til around 4.30 cos some prats were screaming at each other outside the apt block!

Saturday.. Packed up, went out for breakfast, Watched a bit of the football in PBN then had to leaaaaveeee Got back to the house around 11.. Argh England is cold!!

So.. that’s a kind of roundabout sorta version of what happened!

Damn I don’t like being back!
